What is your favorite spring flower?

 

Paeony – Παιώνια

It is a plant for our balcony and garden. Paeonia is a bush with white, rose, purple and yellow flowers. Its leaves are big and its smell is wonderful. It looks like a rose. Rhodes, Crete, Karpathos,Ios and Ioannina are the places where the plant grows.

Gerani – Γεράνι

It is an enduring plant for our balcony, yard and garden. Red, orange, white, rose are the most common colors of gerani. It looks like a tufted bucket of flowers with wide leaves. Gerani needs lots of sun and moderate water. This plant is widespread all around Greece.

Daisy – Μαργαρίτα

It is one of the most beautiful flowers which symbolizes simplicity. In Greece white and yellow are the most common daisies. We can find daisies from April to June anywhere in Greece. This plant needs water and sun to bloom.

Hydraggeia / Hortensia – Υδραγγεία / Ορτανσία

Hydraggeia is an impressive plant you can find in Greece during May. Its head is large and spherical and its leaves are wide. Hydraggeia colors of flowes are the white, rose, pink, blue and purple. This plant needs watering regularly and hot weather to shade in the afternoon.
