How could you improve your writing skills in Greek? Some useful tips!

Make a structure of your text before you start writing.

Think of the introductory paragraph, the main part paragraphs and the closing paragraphs.

Be sure that you understand the questions of the topic.

How many questions you are supposed to answer? One, two or three?

It is very important to use connective words in the paragraphs.

These words make your piece cohesive.

Moreover, try to write connective words between the paragraphs.

The flow of your writing will be clear.

Article, formal letter, informal letter,  email, blog, dialogue?

What piece of writing you are supposed to develop?

It is a good idea to learn in advance how to write each of these pieces.

The quality of language – Appropriate usage of the Greek language

Try to avoid the repetition of same words. Rich vocabulary is an advantage of writing. Get used to using a dictionary. In this way, you can realise the exact  meaning of words.

Syntax

Do you know a big variety of syntax structures. How could you write correct sentences in terms of syntax?

For intance, the structure –>Subject + Verb + Object is a safe way.

Simple and short than complicated and long sentences could be a good option. A lot of student write big sentences that lack a clear meaning.
