Teacher’s setting goals for the new academic year
New academic year is coming. Teachers should prepare appropriately for school. Below there are some goals teachers of all subjects could think. Being a great teacher is a challenge…!
1/ Inspiring students to study at a daily basis
2/ Following their heads gudelines and school’s policies
3/ Communicating with parents effectively
4/ Collaborating with colleagues
5/ Discussing with students the classroom’s rules in the beginning of the school year
6/ Preparing lesson plans for every teaching period (40 min)
7/ Changing esucational strategies whenever needed
8/ Differentiation is needed – Students have their own learning pace
9/ Considering students’ time and skills when assigning homework
10/ Assessing students’ work objectively following the assessment criteria
11/ Organise your teaching material appropriately – Have work ready for the topics you present to students
12/ Trying to be patient and passionate with your work
